Fix what needs to be fixed and maintain it with:

monthly bookkeeping,

In the end, you will finally have systems in place and a go-to team of experts.

[1] Cleanup.

First we take you through our six-step Unf*ck Your Biz Framework to cleanup all your bookkeeping, tax, and legal systems.

[2] Monthly.

Next we maintain those systems through monthly bookkeeping and on-demand one-on-one legal services.

[3] Strategy.

Then, we strive to keep you a step ahead with quarterly tax strategy and annual tax prep.

WHAT YOU GET

In the Cleanup Phase

Unf*ck Your Biz used to be a course with a group coaching support. Although it's now a done-for-you service, you still get the full program to go through if you wish.
We will suggest certain short videos to watch to keep you up to speed.
We can do up to 1-year of income and expense tracking catch-up via a Google sheet. Once caught up, we will start your Quickbooks account fresh.
We will review your prior returns, review your numbers and help you estimate quarterly tax payments and determine what additional strategies you could use to reduce your tax bill.
We will revise your contracts and setup you up with a full sweet of docs. We’re talking:
- Client service agreements,
- Web site contracts,
- Cancellation agreements,
- Joint venture agreements,
- And more.
We will help you make sure your business is properly formed whether that means going through our sole prop checklist or auditing your LLC..
We can also help you form your LLC, advise on whether you should be an S Corp and assist you to make that move if it’s the best fit.
Once we have completed all the other steps, we will give you a custom cash flow plan that covers:
- How much to pay yourself,
- How much to save for taxes, and
- How to build a business savings.
And an action plan to systematize the whole process.

AND THEN, ONGOING:

Once the books are caught up, we will continue to manage them monthly, reconcile the accounts, and send you monthly reports.
We provide quarterly tax strategy checkins, quarterly tax estimates, and annual federal and state income tax preparation.
We help you navigate new business laws, compliance concerns, and can send emails and demand letters to copycats and non-paying clients.

THE ACTUAL COST:

$3000.

To unf*ck your contracts, business entity, and tax strategy. We can also get you all caught up on tax returns and back logged bookkeeping for a separate fee giving you legal and financial peace once and for all.

$750 per month

Starting in month two we take the bookkeeping permanently off your plate, provide quarterly tax strategy, annual income tax prep, and serve as your on-demand business lawyers.

No matter how buttoned-up a business owner think they are, we almost always have some cleanup work. That almost always includes redrafted, auditing, or creating new contracts from scratch.
We also review clients tax returns to provide tax strategy. This fee includes a full audit of your bookkeeping system, and, if needed do up to 1-year of catchup work in a spreadsheet.
We can also run sales tax reports, reasonable salary compensation analyses for S Corp owners, form your LLC, do trademark searches, and more in this setup process.
Generally speaking, our team spends anywhere from 15 to 40 hours onboarding new clients. This fee largely just helps up breakeven on payroll to make sure you’re starting off right.
We don’t like to play from behind. Your business probably needs a makeover, a cleanup, a deep clean. That’s our starting point. It’ll also help you rest easy knowing.
Each of the following as needed:
LLC and S Corp consulting, auditing, and formation
Up to 5 trademark search and 1 trademark application per year
1 year of bookkeeping catch up via spreadsheets
A credit towards your tax filing fee
A full contract audit including new docs as needed
Back tax strategy
Cash flow analysis and guidance
Quarterly tax consulting
Quickbooks setup and monthly ongoing management
On-demand legal services
We will file up to 1 trademark application for you while a member. Additional applications are $1,250 per mark.
We can prepare past due tax returns on a per return basis.
We can do Quickbooks cleanup on a per year basis. This is a big one because most clients who come to us with a Quickbooks account have not properly reconciled their accounts. In this case, we scrap the account and start fresh, or can quote a fee for cleanup.
As noted, we can a credit towards your annual income tax returns. This credit fully covers the cost for one state plus your federal return for one business. Things like additional businesses, rental properties, investment activities in the like require additional fees for added work.
We require a 1-year minimum commitment. If you wish to cancel prior to that, you must pay a separate fee for the tax return.

By the time I got my bar results, I had a 480 credit score. Yikes. It was a struggle. I made $12,000 in my first year of business. In year 3, I generated, $70,000 year, but at 50% profitability, that left only about $25,000 after tax.

I felt like I could barely contribute to our household finances, which created personal stress, and a constant worry about whether I’d be able to able to stay self-employed while striving towards my bigger goals.

Around this time, I dug deep, focused on profit, prioritized paying myself, and built systems to serve each of these goals. Now, I’m paying myself a regular salary, and I want to help you do the same.'

WHY I LOVE HELPING CREATIVES

Growing up, I always loved HGTV and art. I dabbled in graphic design with little success.

I taught myself to knit, poorly. I was a sales associate for West Elm where I had difficulty designing for anyone that had different taste from myself. I even once bought DSLR, shot on auto for a year, gave up and sold it.

Why do I tell you these things? I have many times tried and failed to be a "creative" myself.

While it doesn't take much talent to have a creative hobby, it definitely takes skill and practice to monetize a creative passion and turn it into a career.
