Why do you call it "like a membership" then?
Because it works like one. We add about 3 new templates every month, there's a member community, and you can request templates. Honestly, charging monthly would make us more money, but we kept it a one-time price so it stays affordable.
Are the templates written by lawyers?
Yes. Every template is drafted and reviewed by licensed attorneys, including Braden and the Not AVG team, based on the custom contracts we've written for real clients.
Will the contracts work in my state?
The templates are built on general U.S. contract principles that apply across states. For anything state-specific, a quick review by a local attorney is always a smart move.
Can I use them outside the U.S.?
They're drafted for U.S. law, but members in Canada, the UK, Australia, and Europe have adapted them with help from a local attorney. Have a lawyer in your country give them a once-over first.
Do I need a lawyer to customize them?
Nope. Every template comes with video tutorials, yellow highlights showing what to change, and built-in comments that walk you through it. (A lawyer review is never a bad idea, but it's not required.)
What if my industry isn't listed?
Use the build-your-own client contract. It's a 9-section, fill-in-the-blank contract that works for almost any service business. You can also request a template in the community.
