And to make sure payroll’s never a problem, we come up with a cash flow plan.

    On Nancy’s VIP day, we set her up with an easy-to-use bookkeeping system so she can track every dollar that comes in. We make sure she has a solid client contract and model release, then we talk through the steps she’ll need to take to form an LLC in her state. Because Nancy’s cautious by nature, we also advice her on where to get insurance for her new business.

HOW YOUR VIP DAY WILL GO

1. As soon as you book your VIP day, we send over a form based on our 6-step Unf*ck Your Biz framework. (Bookkeeping, Tax, Unf*ck, Legal, Formation, Cashflow)

2. Based on your answers, we create an agenda for your VIP day.

We can usually tackle half of these topics in a single day (but you should be aware that bookkeeping is the most time-consuming task).

3. Once we have the agenda in place, we let you know what prep work you need to do. Nothing complicated—we’re just going to have you upload bank statements, tax documents, that sort of thing.

4. On the day, we have a 2.5 hour call where we talk through your priorities, then get down to work. Depending on your needs, we may have you stay on the call to work on tasks or answer questions. Or we will have you hop off and come back.

5. You walk away feeling like the CEO of your own business. Maybe you have a trademark in process, a new routine for paying yourself and Uncle Sam, or a contract that you actually understand.

What happens afterward?

After your VIP day, you have two choices:

Slide on in to Profit Rx, our monthly retainer service. We’ll take bookkeeping off your plate, handle both quarterly and annual tax prep, and serve as your on-call business lawyers. (Nothing better than saying  “Let me talk to my attorney and I’ll get back to you.”)

Go through Unf*ck Your Biz, our signature 10-week program that walks you through every step of the framework so you can handle legal and tax sh*t in-house.
